Tuna Burgers

So I have tons of canned tuna, so I thought to myself, "how can I get rid of all of these cans of tuna"? I decided to play around and make a burger and this is the best tasting version.

Things you need:
REMEMBER tsp = teaspoon, this recipe makes 4 burgers
2 cans of tuna in water (5 oz. cans)
2/3 cups + 1/4cups of Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
4 Burger Buns

Step One:
Spay oil into either a non stick skillet or a griddle (this is the griddle I use Presto 07046 Tilt 'n Drain Big Griddle Cool-Touch Electric Griddle). Place it in medium heat.

Step Two:
Drain the tuna and place in a bowl with 2/3 cups bread crumbs, the soy sauce, hot sauce, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Divide into 4 patties. These will be very delicate so be very careful.

Step Three:
On a plate place the remaining 1/4 cup of  bread crumbs. Cover the 4 patties with a light coating of the bread crumbs. Let the patties rest for 5 minutes so that the bread crumbs can soak up as much liquid as possible.

Step Four:
Cook the patties on the first side for about 4 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy. Cook them on the second time until golden brown and crunchy as well. This time it should take about 2 minutes. Place your patties on the burger bun and top them like you would any other burger.

Note: You don't have to add the red pepper flakes, or hot sauce if you don't like things spicy. Instead use extra parsley flakes about 1/2 a tsp should do the trick.
